A: The generator needs to be running to use the A/C, the microwave, or any of the electrical outlets (i.e coffee maker, charging phone). It also needs to run for at least 3-5 hours throughout the day to keep the batteries charged. With charged batteries, you will still be able to use all other amenities at night without the generator running (lights, fridge, heater, water). You do not need a generator if your site has an electrical hook-up or if it is staying on a property with an accessible electrical outlet.
A: Be sure to check the weight of the trailer you are interested in renting (all of our weight specifications can be found in each trailer description). You will also need to check the towing capacity of the vehicle it is you are towing with. We recommend the Gross Weight (GVWR) to be at least 1500 lbs less than the towing capacity on the vehicle. We also highly suggest a brake control system to be installed beforehand on any towing vehicle (newer vehicles are usually installed with one).
A: Yes, we are pet friendly! Bring your fury friends along, we would love to meet them too!
A: The propane gas is used for majority of your temperature-controlled amenities. Propane will be used for your water heater, your furnace, your stove/oven, and your fridge (there is an auto setting on each fridge that will use electricity instead of propane if you are on a full hook-up). We provide propane in our rentals, so there is no need to refill
A: There is a list of basic items we include in each description of our trailers. Please be sure to go through this list thoroughly before packing for your trip so you have everything you need. If you are particular about a specific item (i.e. pot/pan size) we strongly advise you to bring your own items so there are no misleading expectations. The items in our lists are all that we provide unless items get donated/left behind from previous renters.
A: We do not include this in our rentals but are more than happy to provide you with linen/towels for a flat $30. This will include a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket and/or comforter, a pillow/pillow cover, and a towel. I will provide this for the number of guests that you include in your total guest count. Please include your sleeping arrangements if people are sharing beds to save me the efforts of making extra beds, it is greatly appreciated if you decide to have this addition!
A: Yes on both. There will be a $100 cleaning fee and a $75 dumping fee for trailers that are not cleaned and/or dumped prior to return. To find a nearby dump station, you can search for one or find your nearest RV park. Most places charge $10-$20/dump. Any playa dust found in our trailers is subject to a $500 cleaning fee.
A: All of our trailers are 30 Amp sized electrical systems. We have 30A-15A adapters if you need to plug the trailer into a house outlet.
A: Yes, all of our trailers will come with a full tank of freshwater prior to it getting in your hands. Please refer to your specific trailer description to confirm tank sizes as each trailer has a different freshwater tank size (20-60 gallons). You are more than welcome to refill the freshwater tank (we even offer a water drum addition for extra water supply), but keep in mind that the grey water tank usually needs to be emptied before doing this to prevent overflow.
A: We are more than happy to fully refund your reservation if you cancel prior to 14 days before your departure date. If you cancel within those 14 days, we will keep your initial payment (50% of the total reservation cost). Any cancellation within 24 hours of your departure date will result in no refund.
